busy

We are flying home to Germany tomorrow. It has been a long time since we have seen out parents, well except for skypeing with them.
Calvin is doing fine, he has gained 1/2 lb in the last month and has started to "army-crawl".

I will try to update once we arrived in Germany.

Sick

Yesterday I woke up to Calvin coughing, it was not very bad though. Throughout the day he had a very runny nose, but he was still very happy, wanted to play and tried to crawl. He still needs some practice, but I am sure he will be able to crawl very soon.

We had some friends over to celebrate Calvin's first birthday and so it got very late when we went to bed. Calvin fell asleep pretty fast, however after 30 minutes he woke up crying and he would not go back to sleep. You could really tell that he was not feeling well. After what seemed to be an eternity he closed his eyes and dozed off in Alex' arms. We transferred him into his carseat where he slept for the rest of the night. 

Poor Calvin is not feeling better today. I just hope that he won't get an ear infection on top of the cold... He has never been sick before, but I guess there has to be a first time for everything, right?
